This comforter is exactly what I wanted! It’s luxurious and plush and it feels great on my skin. It’s a tad warm for summer / early fall but I’m excited to use it in the winter months.

I immediately switched out my old comforter when this arrived. The eucalyptus cover feels cool to the touch but I can tell it will be warm. It feels well made and soft and I can’t wait to go to bed!

Best comforter

I cannot rave enough about this comforter. 

I suffer from night sweats and this has helped so much. I grew up with light summer and heavy winter goose down comforters. I can't explain how but we sleep with this comforter year round and it's warm enough on cold nights and not to warm on hot nights.

We live in SF so it still gets decently cold at night and this comforter is perfect for when we want fresh air with an open window but also want to stay warm. I love the corner ties that goes with my duvet cover.

Really warm 

This comforter is really nice. Personally I think I it’s better for the colder months of the year since it does keep you warm at night. The material is super similar to the eucalyptus sheets, so it does wrinkle a bit, but I’d you’re gonna put a duvet cover on it, it doesn’t really matter. I haven’t put it in the washer yet, so we’ll see how it holds up after that!

It is so so soft! It keep me warmer than some of the cheaper comforters my mother has bought me. 

Soft and Lightweight

I love this comforter. Never too hot or cold.  Feels like a hotel room. I would just check the size before you order because it seems to be smaller than my duvet cover, though the duvet cover is from Australia so it might just be that the standards are different. I've included a pic of my dog being cute on the bed where we're using the comforter as a duvet insert.

Nice weight

We've been sleeping under this comforter for 3 months of California summer.  It's the perfect weight and sleeping warmth so far sandwiched between a sheet and a medium-weight quilt.  With the current heat, we throw the quilt off the top and it's like sleeping under clouds.  My husband's allergic to down, so this alternative is fantastic and also SO much more comfortable and light than our past down-feather comforters.  Looking forward to a snuggly and less-heavy winter's sleep too!  Dog loves it

Fluffy & light - California year-round comfort!

I haven’t used this on my bed but I have a couple of points that please me. It was packaged well to protect the contents. I wa careful when I cut the box open but I was pleased to see that there was another layer of cardboard. The comforter is in a sealed plastic bag and is heavy. It felt substantial.

Light and warm comforter which we used primarily in the fall/winter. We love the feel and value of this comforter insert which we use with out duvet covers. I would highly recommend.

As someone who lives in Chicago with no central air, I needed something to be cool enough but also keep me warm - this is it! 

Perfect weight 

I was so excited to see how this comforter fluffed up after a day out of the packaging. It has a really nice weight to it and a gusset around the edges that lets it get extra fluffy. Once I get my new duvet cover, I might try using this plus my current (not as nice) comforter to get that in-store look.

For years, I'd been using a comforter that cost close to $1,000. I was SUPER hesitant about getting a comforter that cost only a fraction of the cost *and* sight-unseen. But I couldn't be more impressed. It's soft (not newspaper-y) and plenty warm. Trust me-- buy this.

Lightweight but had kept us warm on the coldest of nights. Super soft so definitely able to use with a cover. Pairs perfectly with the linen duvet cover as well though, especially appreciate the tie loops on each corner.

I use this insert with Italic's Luxe Sateen Duvet Cover and it keeps me and my partner cool at night. It is very slim and lightweight, so if you are looking for something more fluffy, this may not be for you.

I can’t believe that a comforter for this price would be that good! I have another comforter from Buffy and they are both of the same great quality but this one is for such a better price!

I’ve had a few other light duvets in the past, but they were always just too thin and flattened out over time. This is the perfect weight and even though the material gets covered - it’s so soft and silky. The corner tabs for tying in the duvet cover are an additional bonus.

Perfection!

I ordered the italic down comforter along with the duvet (see both in the image) for our guest bedroom. I was completely blown away with the quality and softness of the duvet cover and the fill of the alternative down comforter. These are definitely a great option for the colder California months. My in laws were visiting from a much warmer climate and have really appreciated the extra warmth added by this comforter. Definitely will continue to purchase comforters from Italic moving forward!

Perfect Puff

I want to give this comforter a 4.6 star rating! Just as everyone says, great price for the quality. My I would take off .4 because it can get too hot vs compared to other comforters I have. I’ll definitely use this in the winter and fall months but change it out to my goose down in the summer. But on a side note, my puppy loves this comforter!

Mid weight

If voluminous beds are your thing, this comforter is thick, and not too warm, not too cold. We live in sub zero temperatures in the winter and with a quilt or duvet, the weight of the comforter does the trick. It's also a fixture on the end of the bed on cooler summer nights. Practical, washable, and rivals a king down alternative comforter we bought for 280.

Seems to be great quality. Haven’t washed it yet, so time will tell. And the price!! Very soft and doesn’t make noise like some duvets I’ve had. Waiting for restock so I can grab a couple more.

This was my very first Italic purchase so I was a little skeptical about the quality of the product I would receive, but I was very much pleasantly surprised! The material is so soft and definitely feels of high-end quality. The weight is a perfect medium weight, and it hold the warmth well during this cold winter we are experiencing. Definitely would recommend this comforter!

I was fully prepared to be disappointed, but I can't recommend this comforter strongly enough.  It's just the right weight, and the fabric is so smooth that I almost don't want to put a duvet cover on.

I am a pretty warm sleeper at night and this has been keeping me warm without sweating in the winter temps! I wouldn't put any other blankets with it or I'd be too hot. I've had it for a week and it's still kinda wrinkly but it's stayed fluffy! I don't see the wrinkles through my duvet cover

Nice warm comforter

Bought this and had low expectations. It far exceeded expectations. Use it in our guest room but I’ve found myself sleeping in there a bunch lately cause it made the bed so comfortable.

Very good value and comfort

I've had this comforter for about three months, through later summer, fall and now early winter in nyc. It's been great! And the comforter isn't heavy but weighted enough --helps with sleep. Think it's a GREAT value, especially compared to other more expensive brands.

At first I was skeptical with the price, and worried about not being comfortable. I was wrong! This is a great alternative if you allergic to feather, or don't want to pay the price.

Fits perfect with Italic sheets 

I love this comforter! It’s super soft and the perfect medium weight. I was using an IKEA comforter previously and definitely prefer this one—the quality is much nicer. The price is incredibly reasonable as well. Highly recommend it!

This comforter would be perfect for cold climates - it definitely keeps in the heat and has a great weight and thickness to it. Wouldn't recommend for warmer temperatures.
