Build a better bed.

I luckily nabbed one of these during a Holiday promo — in fact, I signed up for Italic Bold and made my first purchase on Italic for this item.  Thankfully, it did not disappoint!  The quality for the price is fantastic.  I can not imagine anyone else coming close to this level of quality at the price point.  

As others have stated, it feels like you're being hugged by a bed of clouds. It is very plush and very enveloping.  At first, I actually thought the sensation was so foreign, that I didn't know if I liked it or even wanted to keep it, but after maybe three nights, I am a complete convert and love the feeling this has brought to my bed.

Huge points for the straps that this has, to ensure a snug fit that does not slide all over your mattress.  I read that competitors didn't even necessarily have this feature (which sounds like a nightmare to me... it would slide all over the place!).

This is the product that sold me on Italic. Lovely featherbed, that has turned our 10 year old mattress into the most comfortable bed in the house.

This mattress topper made me love being in bed 100x more than I already did, which was a lot. It's squishy but substantial - the filling squishes as you sleep on it but never sinks down to the bare mattress. I rotate it every time I change the sheets. 

My favorite purchase of the year.

Using this to pad a futon and it is really transformative! The different layers stay in place and don't bunch up. 

So big and fluffy

Super excellent addition to the old mattress I had.  It really elevates the comfort (slept like a baby), but also adds much better temperature regulation.  With the changing season, I've been waking up feeling cold, but with the topper, I woke up feeling warm and cozy.   Can't compare to other premium toppers out there, but overall, satisfied with the purchase.  

The order took a bit longer than expected, but I wasn't in a rush so it worked out!

Perfect addition for an old mattresse

everything in the reviews is true! THE QUALITY is amazing. I grew up with pottery barn and the like toppers and duvets and this is the same quality if not better. I was shocked at the level of detail in the components in the topper. I ALWAYS ALWAYS have allergies with anything down and this was not the case for this... idk how they did it but its true. Also I didnt have the same issue with the corner straps moving. Mine stays in place perfect and rarely need to re-fluff. JUST BUY IT!

For the price, you won't find anything better. This mattress topper is plush, cool, and so comfortable. Fluff every week when I change the sheet and have had no issues.

Incredibly comfortable

Was a bit skeptical that this would offset an aging (if expensive) mattress, but it does feel like I'm floating on a cloud. Great price! 

Gave New Life To My Mattress

The quality of this topper is excellent. I considered many options before selecting this topper. Slightly longer elastic straps would make it a bit easier to fit over the corners of a deep mattress and would help prevent slippage. A good shake keeps it fluffy. 

Pleased with this topper

This made my bed dramatically more comfortable.  It is very thick though and made it pretty hard to get a mattress cover over it.  You may need to switch to a deep sized elastic sheet

Really comfy

When my friend crashed my place after breaking up with her boyfriend she complained about my sh*tty mattress. It was between this and a Ritz Carlton mattress pad but the topper has more cushion and feels wonderfully fluffy. No more sh*tty mattress!

Worthwhile Investment

I am thrilled to have found this down mattress topper. When I opened the box and got to feel it with my own hands, I could tell right away this was the right choice. The topper is VERY plush. It fits our king-sized bed perfectly, edge to edge, top to bottom. The elastic bands to keep the topper in place as expected. We've had an excellent week of sleep so far. Our mattress is on the firm side and this topper added just the right layer of softness. DOES NOT sleep hot.

Never thought this would make such a good difference to my sleeping comfort. This gave my bed so much fluff and height. Made my ikea mattress feel like an expensive hotel sleeping experience. Highly recommend!

The best sleep EVER

I have an old mattress that I've been meaning to replace but I'm in a rental and didn't want to invest in a new mattress if I have to move in a year - this topper was the perfect solution. All the luxury of down and at a STEAL. Doesn't slip and also has a strap to secure it to the mattress.

I received this as a gift for our main bedroom, but had to purchase one for our guest bedroom as well. I feel as though I’m gifting our guests with luxury! This topper is amazing and when you sink into it you feel such comfort. It is thick and soft. It does slide around on our bed pretty easily, though!

After staying at the Four Seasons, but not being willing to pay that price, I hoped this option would deliver. It did. The mattress topper is so thick and solid it took my good mattress to great. 

Recreating that Four Season’s stay

Definitely better than the $250 feather mattress topper I purchased through overstock last year. This one doesn’t seem to develop any lumps, it’s lighter which makes fluffing it much easier, the filling is evenly distributed across the different baffles, and the corner elastic pieces prevent it from sliding underneath the sheet. I’ve moved my old topper to a guest bed and have been using this one in my bedroom now. At $110 for the queen size, this was an absolute steal before the price increase.

I knew I wanted my bed really fluffy. So, I ended up buying two of these. The photos are before and after, and I added about 6-12" of poof for under $250. Plus, the straps for the mattress are amazing!

Super Comfortable

If down is your thing, you’ll love this topper. The heft and quality of the layers is impeccable. I personally felt that I slept a bit hot with this topper, but I’m extremely sensitive. I gifted it to my parents and they love it. As another reviewer mentioned, the box it comes in is huge and heavier than I expected. Italic did not skimp on the down!

Luxury down

We have a nearly twenty-year old mattress that we had been seriously considering updating with a high quality one, but the several thousand dollar price tag had us procrastinating and we're glad we did as this mattress topper came our way just in time. The cool soft and pillowy-like feel gave us the most comfortable sleep we've had in years. No more stiff backs when we get out of bed - certainly a game changer!

Super thick

Added to a mattress that was actually too soft and it added a bit of firmness yet give that was needed. I bought another to add to a mattress that is too hard (sofa bed duh! ;) and it softened it up quite a bit to add that extra give

This mattress topper is unbelievably soft and comfortable. My husband and I are lifelong insomniacs, and we both had the best sleep in months with this.

Sooooo comfortable

It’s like sleeping on a cloud that hugs you! I was debating buying a new mattress since I hadn’t been sleeping well, but I gave this a try and I am so glad I did! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. My mattress protector and most* of my sheets fit over it.

Really comfortable and plushy! Has turned my bed into a bed of clouds. My only qualm is that it does move around a little bit and doesn't stay in place as well. But a great deal nonetheless.

We have owned this topper for a few months now and really like it. It is well made and packed full of feathers. I just wish it stayed on the mattress better. The straps don’t hold it on that well.

Nice Down Topper

I ordered queen size but as you see the pictures the rubber band attached to the topper was useless. So I purchased another topper with deep skirt to make this feather topper stay at the right place. Then I put the linen sheet on top of this additional topper. I wish italic makes the topper as the size they described. BUT I have to say that this feather topper made our old mattress comfortable again! 

Smaller than the size description

You get what you pay for with this mattress topper. It is on par with other mattress toppers in the same price range in terms of quality, unfortunately it leaks, a lot. Avoid if you are even slightly sensitive to town.

Comfortable but leaks

I like this item, but it sheds a lot and goes flat fairly quickly. This may simply be a feature of all feather mattress toppers, but if left me slightly disappointed. 

Sheds, but otherwise nice

I really wanted to love this mattress topper but I ended up throwing it away. It didn’t fit correctly on my Casper mattress and the elastics never stayed in place all at once. One of them was even twisted. It left feathers everywhere when I changed the sheets which was a mess to vacuum. And finally it always looked lumpy. The overall material quality felt good but unfortunately too many issues with the design.
