The wheels roll beautifully. The tsa locks on the side are seamless so far. I too like the other reviewers dislike the italic logo that is smack dab in the middle of the item. I got the silver which looks very sleek. Checked it in for a round trip flight and got a decent number of scratches. Don’t mind that part much as I’d expected it but important for people to know prior to purchasing.  

Nice but gets scratches as check in bag

I love this trunk style suitcase, and even better that is is all black with smooth-rolling wheels. I am not sure how rough and tumble it will be but I expect any suitcase to take a beating over time. If I have any complaint, I don’t love that there is a logo icon, as I still associate with Italic’s original no-logos idea. That said, it is low contrast and is better than a lot of other logos on luggage.

Beyond impressed 

Incredibly well built. Ideal for carry-on. Perfect size. Susceptible to a few bumps and bruises if checked often, but comparable to other popular aluminum suitcase brands. Now, for more colors... and I would love a mini version!

Great carry on luggage!

Been looking for a new carry-on and was thinking Away or Monos until Italic came out with this one. 

Definitely a steal for the aluminum shell, it’s very nice. Handles, lock and wheels all work smoothly.

Only downside is the inside is a bit smaller in capacity and it doesn’t come with the extras (dirty laundry bag, compression) that the other companies do. Wish Italic had a carry-on plus equivalent…

But for the price and aluminum look, this is a great product.

Excellent suitcase! 

This suitcase in my humble opinion is on par with Rimowa and Hartmann.  Very nice layout in the interior and the wheels are so smooth and easy to maneuver.

This suitcase is amazing. Fits plenty and is very durable. It’s also more resistant to scratches than I imagined.

Sturdy & Lightweight!

I’ve wanted an aluminum suitcase for awhile but I’m very budget conscious and nothing seemed reasonably priced and quality until I saw this. I think this is a Level8 dupe. I compared this to my brother’s Rimowa x Moncler and while his is a little nicer, the difference is not worth the $1,000+ price difference.

Husband got the black one and it is excellent quality! I want to get one for myself. I love how sturdy it is, especially the wheels and handle. It does not feel like cheap plastic.

I’ve wanted an aluminum suitcase for so long, but didn’t want to spend $500+ on luggage, so I was so excited to find this on Italic! It’s a gorgeous suitcase, no doubt, I’m just not 100% convinced of it’s durability. The telescoping handle and locks in particular feel like lightweight plastic, not parts that will stand the test of time. I almost considered sending it back for this reason. But, I love it so much otherwise and the price is right, so I’ve decided to give it a chance, hoping it lasts!

I bought the silver suitcase, perfect for the carry-on and it is very well built and luxury looking.

This suitcase wheels so smoothly around an airport, plus the compartment is broken up perfectly with a divider. The double clasp is also a nice touch

What a bargain!  It’d be nice if it included the charging module below the handle you see in the competing product sometimes, but maybe that’ll be a future addition.  Soft-return top handle is superb.

Wow!

I got this carry-on before a trip to Mexico. I’ve now traveled with it a few times. It’s quite light, and fits a good amount. The wheels were very smooth.

Great carry-on

The quality of this suitcase compared to cost is outstanding. Feels solid and as great as a comparable from Away at 1/2 the cost. Photos are after a few trips and it will take on scratches and marks but that is to be expected with aluminum luggage. Everything feels solid and of quality.

Small reco - maybe Italic should include some sort of black touch up paint to mark up scratches (like you might get with a car?). But beyond that, it's a phenomenal value.

perfect for quick trips 

This is a level8 aluminum suitcase dupe I believe. It fits a lot of things, but it’s not carry on complaint for a lot of the airlines I’m taking for my upcoming trip. I still plan to use it for domestic flights where it’s alright to bring on board. The clips are very satisfying. 

Pretty nice case

Love that there's no zippers. To close, there are just two latches. Looks very nice and I feel happy rolling around the airport. Very light. Wheels turn easily 360 degrees.

snappy and robust

This suitcase is very stylish.  I get lots of compliments when I use it.  Great quality - the wheels are so smooth, it just glides across the floor.  The inside is nice as well- great construction and ample space to put cloths/shoes for the weekend.  

Only complaint I have is with the logo.  I don't love that it's right in the center of the bag.  It would look so much better without it on there.  

Be aware, the outside of the suitcase does scratch easily.

PERFECT SUITCASE for travel

Overall good carry-on. Cons: on a smaller size capacity wise, black coating  is easily scratched, flat sides are prone to bending, flimsy logo attachment. Pros:good quality overall, great lock and solid seal, string handles, very attractive design.

Sturdy and high quality carry-on

Italic never fails to deliver. The aluminum casing seems a bit thin, not sure how it will hold up, but it seems strurdy enough. 4 stars for look and functionality.

Sleek looking carry on luggage

I bought this to see whether I would like having an aluminum suitcase. The outside is generally really good, though the logo did come off with only a few uses. Interior quality, not as good, with the compression straps, breaking after only if you use this as well.

Good, but…

I really love this suitcase.  I've had a clear protective case around it since day 1.  Looks great and great for small trips.  

Only issue I have with it is that it has a crack on the piece of plastic above the wheel.  

I would expect dents and scratches from an aluminum suitcase but this is a crack where there shouldn't be one.  It's not a crack from just normal use.  It looks like that entire wheel piece was forced in or something.

It still works and I'm still using it but be careful.

Love the Suitcase, but has some quality issues

I was looking for an aluminum suitcase that would be affordable. It is a good one but it does scratch and dent very easily. The picture is after 1 trip, checked-in. Dents are expected for metal based luggages so I am fine with that but the aluminum seems very thin to dent so easily. The locks are plastic though, was hoping for solid metal locks, we’ll see how they hold with time. Overall satisfied, can’t ask for a Rimowa at this price so good alternative, just wished the logo wasn’t there as it is supposed to be logo free.
